Indian Institute Of Mines Ramgarh has been stablished in 2000,Approved By DGMS(Dhanbad) & sponsored By The Indian Educational Foundation(Trust). Mineral Industries at present are hard pressed for meeting the stringent quality and increased quantity requirements of row meterials for the core sector like power, Steel, Metals, Cement, Railways, Shipping and Transport etc. Today, India explores about eight type of Metallic Ores, 45 Industrial Minerals Including full amounting to a total of 300 MT per annum. The Country is poised for more than 750 MT of excavationper annum by the turn of century. The quantum leap will necessitate Technology up-gradation, Intensive Material handling and Minerals benification method, Automation, Safety and Environmental, Managemental, Skilled Personnels etc.
